Transfer from the airport to the center of the city of Girona
The Costa Brava Airport, just 12.5 kilometers from the center of Girona, is one of the airports with the highest passenger capacity in Spain and the second in Barcelona by size and passenger flow. In normal driving, you can cover this distance in 20 minutes. There are flights to Istanbul, Antalya, Izmir and Adana Airport (Turkish Airlines). After getting off the plane, you can easily reach the center of Girona. Regular bus services, taxis, car rentals, and private transfers are your preferred means of transportation from the airport to the city center.

You can take a bus from the Costa Brava airport to the city center and it is one of the most affordable means of transportation. The city's public transportation network is run by a company called Sagales, and you can find bus schedules on their website (sagales.com).
The 605 bus leaves from Blanes, picks up passengers at the Lloret de Mar and Costa Brava airports and ends in Girona. It takes about 20 minutes from the airport to the city center.
Line L-28 is also one of the preferred buses between the airport and the city center. From Lleeda, take the C25 motorway towards Girona. It takes about 15 minutes by bus.
Another bus alternative to the city center is the 607, which also stops at Riudellots. Remember that the bus runs between 05:00 and 23:00 during the week.
Shuttles to the city center are available every 25 minutes and every hour. You can take the bus in front of the airport terminal, get off the plane and walk for 5 minutes. The last stop is in the city center, where you can get off at the Girona bus station (Estació D'Autobusos De Girona). Each bus station has a route schedule, and you can plan your trip according to the departure time.
A one-way ticket from the Costa Brava airport to Girona city center costs €2.75. Ticket sales are not offered online, nor is it possible to purchase them on the bus. You can buy bus tickets at the airport ticket office, which is open every day from 8 in the morning (until 2 in the morning the next day).
