“To better understand the state of the world, I completed a BA in International Relations from EWU in 2011 with an emphasis in Social Economy. In 2022, I also received an MBA in International Business from EWU. International organizations and donations from the local community have always been very important to me. I look forward to learning about nonprofits that I may not know much about right now, and meeting women in the field who share my passion for helping others."
Robin Wear, Spokane Professional Women Forever
"I truly appreciate the essence of this mission because it resonates deeply with me personally and professionally. The opportunity to work with other local women to bring about real change in our community is a perfect fit for my approach. I strongly believe that by joining forces, we can have the collective power to achieve transformative results beyond what we can achieve individually."
Tiffany Johnson, Working Women of Spokane Forever

Spokane Professional Women for Good is one of more than 200 giving circles in the Grapevine network that brings together like-minded people who share common interests and values to connect, gather donations, and collectively make a bigger difference.
Grapevine is a platform that gives our team an online home where we can donate to a shared fund and then collaborate to decide which nonprofits to donate the money to. They also provide our team with free virtual event planning and hosting support, endowment funds, and much more!
At Grapevine, our mission is to help grow the circle of giving movement. To do this, we are working hard to help start circulating new areas and categories that don't exist yet. That's why we're launching Spokane Professional Women for Good. As we grow the team, we identify team leaders and help them maintain and grow the team over time.

1. Contribution
Members pay quarterly.
2. Other
If members contribute, they can nominate a nonprofit organization for consideration by adding their nomination to a post on the Grapevine page. Nominations must be in line with the priorities outlined by your group.
3. Choose
Once all nominations are submitted, we will randomly select three member nominations
.
4. Meeting
Every quarter, we host a one-hour virtual or face-to-face networking event. In quarterly events, the candidacies of the three selected members will be presented. They will have five minutes to present their non-profit organization, followed by five minutes for questions and answers from members. At the beginning and end of the event, we will have time to socialize and connect.
5. vote
Once all submissions are complete, all contributing members can vote. The non-profit organization with the most votes will receive a financial prize.
You can spend as much or as little time as you want. However, in general, most members spend about 5 hours a year participating in the group. This includes quarterly nominations and/or voting for select nonprofits, as well as participation in quarterly one-hour events (four times a year), some networking events, and other opportunities to connect with other group members. However, there is no requirement to participate in these activities. Additionally, we would love to work with interested members to get them more involved and to help lead and develop the team, which will require a few additional hours per quarter or year depending on your abilities.
We do not charge membership fees, but our payment processor does charge a discounted nonprofit credit card fee of 2.2% + 30 cents per donation (3.5% for AmEx). If you wish, you may leave an optional note with your donation to support the work of the Grapevine.
Anyone who identifies as a worker in Spokane can participate. This can apply to any type of business, industry, role, or level. welcome everyone!
We will contact you within a week with your membership status. If your membership is approved, we'll send you a message to join the group and add a donation.
Make real and lasting changes
Imagine connecting with the community of local Spokane women leaders and giving back tens of thousands of dollars a year to nonprofit organizations in your community. It's an ongoing effort to make sure you're doing the best you can for your community and the causes that matter most to you, not just one-of-a-kind things. You can do all of this by meeting and collaborating with other amazing women from across the country.
